Role
- Management of thallium toxicity in discussion with a clinical toxicologist
- Management of radioactive cesium (Cs-137) toxicity in discussion with a clinical toxicologist

Consultation with a clinical toxicologist is recommended through the local toxicology service or Poisons Information Centre 13 11 26.
Dose
60mg/kg (up to 3g) q4h orally or via nasogastric tube

Rationale
Both thallium and cesium poisoning are exceptionally rare, and the stocking recommendation reflects a pragmatic approach. In large-scale radiation incidents Prussian Blue can be sourced from the National Stockpile.
